UCSF Support Group for Caregivers of Older Loved Ones: Follow-Up

In January 2025, UCSF Family Services launched a new resource for the University's employees and learners: a virtual support group for caregivers of older loved ones. This pilot program, made possible by a UCSF Community Well-being Grant, reflects University leadership’s commitment to supporting our employees and learners who shoulder caregiving responsibilities – those who are part of the sandwich generation (adults simultaneously caring for their elderly relatives and their children) as well as those solely caring for their older relatives.
