Enrollment season for San Francisco's 2025-2026 school year starts this fall. To support UCSF families, Family Services is offering two free enrollment workshops, one on private schools and one on public schools. Both events are virtual. Enrolling Your Child in Private School
Join private school specialist, Amy Fazio, for a virtual talk on the process and timing for private school visits, applications, and admissions. Learn about school philosophies, affordability/financial assistance, and factors to consider during school tours. Amy Fazio has been the speaker for Family Services’ annual private school enrollment webinar since 2021. For 12+ years, she worked at Bright Horizons child care centers, where as a Kindergarten Prep Lead Teacher, a Preschool Program Instructional Coach, and a Business Manager, she guided families through the Kindergarten application process. Amy is now part of UCSF Campus Life Services – she joined the Arts and Events team in late 2023. Family Services is thrilled that although Amy is not currently in the child development field, she has graciously agreed to share her knowledge once again with the UCSF community. As a San Francisco native, Amy brings a unique perspective on the city’s schools. She looks forward to answering your questions and providing insight on the private school application process.

Alicia Jones is a counselor at the SFUSD Enrollment Center (EC), which is the Welcome Center for families on the road to education in SFUSD. EC’s counselors can help families with the entire enrollment process whether their child is new to the school district or already attending an SFUSD school.
