With the passage of the federal PUMP Act and Pregnant Workers Fairness Act, and the enactment of new Title IX regulations, pregnant and postpartum workers have new and strengthened rights to accommodations and leave. Jessica Lee, J.D., senior staff attorney, Center for WorkLife, UC Law SF, will provide an overview of the new laws and offer strategies for successfully implementing them in the workplace.
